Vietnam earned $26.284 billion from textile and garment exports in the first eight months and Yarn exports were $3.452 billion in 2022. Garment export was an increase by 24.3 percent over the same period of last year.

China imported around 46.49 percent or $1.605 billion worth of yarn, The US imported about 46% or $12.8 Billion in textiles and garments.
Japan and South Korea were the other significant destinations with exports of $2.536 billion and $2.143 billion, respectively.
Vietnam has set a target of $43 billion for its textiles for 2022, garments, and yarn exports, according to the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS).
