Kharda Public Cultural & Welfare Association

It is a non govt., non pro_it, non political, non religious social development organization established in the year 1990. We work for the development of deprived and marginalized people, especially the women and children, in remote areas of West Bengal. We facilitate the participatory process of sustainable development where community are able to make their own choice, meet their survival need and become self reliant with dignity. Since its inception, KPCWA has been successfully helping such communities in improving their quality of life. The major agenda in KPCWA's Community-focused Strategy to bring in an integrated, inclusive, and sustainable development involves gender mainstreaming, action research, networking and advocacy
