The Sonthalia Group is involved in manufacturing and trading of Engineering Steel Products, Polymers & Plastic Products, Readymade Garments, Textile Fabrics, Gems & Jewellery apart from import & export of various products. History of "The Sonthalia Group": - Late Satyadeo Sonthalia came to Kolkata from far away Rajasthan. A young man from a business background, he came to live with his grandfather, whose principal business was trading in commodities. He laid the foundation of "The Sonthalia Group" by entering the manufacturing sector. It was the year 1963, when steel was still under the 'license & control' regime. Despite the odds, he imported plant and machinery for the manufacture of iron and steel products to successfully implement his dream project under the name "ENFIELD". Late Satyadeo Sonthalia departed for his heavenly abode in 2002 leaving behind memories & inspirations for the growth of "The Sonthalia Group", founded by him. The two sons of late Satyadeo Sonthalia, Mr. Sudesh Sonthalia and Mr. Rajesh Sonthalia, joined the family business in 1980. Their successes have won them many awards and accolades from the business fraternity.
